My Stamping Table blog and been neglected, but not my stamping table! It is full to overflowing with fun projects, pretty papers and a plethora of accessories. I know you stampers can easily visualize the creative chaos. "Well just what have you been working on so hard that has caused you to neglect you new blog baby, Jann?" I'm so glad you asked! Many, many fun things are going on in my crafting world!
This weekend I'm headed south to spend a great, fun weekend with my stamping sisters in Texas! I can't wait to see these girls again and even meet some new friends! I've been very busy cutting, sorting, stamping, and prepping some outstanding projects that I hope they will love! All I can show you right now of these projects is a teeny tiny thumbnail of just one of them. I like surprises and I don't want to give too much away!! Plus, some of these projects are going to be part of my Surprise & Delight retreat in OKC on June 17 & 18! More about that later.
The second super fun project in my life right now is a very, very special one. (It's only 2nd in chronological order - not importance.) I am designing and making the wedding invitations for my oldest delightful offspring and his sweet significant other. I have a sneak peek for you of that too!
Ok, I'd better got back to work now. Thanks for listening. We'll talk again later. (smile)
P.S. If you are really my friend you will talk back. (bigger smile)
Feeding friendships with stamps, paper and ink. (And a little chocolate, of course!)

First 6 Followers!
I was so excited to see that I have 4 good folks following me. (It's nice that I'm not completely talking to myself now. ) I've decided that because I love these four so much I want to do something special for them. I'm inviting them to come to my stamping table for a fun evening of food and stamping. I actually have 6 seats at my stamping table so I still have room for 2 more! All you have to do is be #5 & #6! Who will it be?!
Oh ya, and a card today!
These cards are what we made at stamp club this month. The are created from the Sew Suite grouping of coordinating stamps, paper and the most adorable fabric brads, all found in the Occassions Mini catalog. You only have a few more days to order from the Occassions Mini. I'll be placing one more order before this cute stuff is gone forever. Let me know if you would like something. I make custom cards too if you are short on time!
Thanks for stopping by!

A good day for Asparagus Soup.
I got a soup maker for Christmas from the delightful offspring and have had much fun with it! Today I made Asparagus Soup. YUM!
Here's the recipe:
1 pound asparagus
2 t canola oil
1 med onion, chopped
1 med potato, cubed
3 C vegetable broth, low-sodium
1/4 t pepper (called for white, but I only had black)
1/2 t ground savory (didn't have it - used coriander)
1 C 2% milk
1/4 C snipped fresh parsley
Put it all in the Soup Maker except the milk and turned it on. Added the milk after it had run through all the cycles. I decided to garnish mine with bacon crumbles and a blanched asparagus top. It was delish and a very pretty spring green. Enjoy!
