i. love. pumpkin. BLING!

I just love this black pumpkin with BLING! My "BOO"tiful Halloween class will love making this, I hope!! I think this pumpkin will look sooo pretty next to the white pumpkin with black jewels we made in class last year.
We are also making a Graveyard "Welcome" sign and a cute laminar! (picture below) To finish our class I am giving the stampers a couple of ideas for using the new 1"x 8" Cello Bags. Thanks for checking me out. Please leave a comment! It's pretty scary always talking to myself. <giggle>

(Note: Trying to catch up so check back often!)

Pennants For All Occasions!!

Finding new ways to use one of my favorite toys is always fun!! My challenge was to come up with a variety of sample using the NEW Petite Pennant Punch and Pennant Parade Stamp Set by Stampin' Up! I LOVE these two items and pennants are all the rage right now so, Way to Go Stampin' Up!!
This is a cute little wedding gift enclosure card. Aren't the little bride and groom adorable?! Yep! They are made with the Pennant Punch.
How about an Ice Cream Come Birthday card. The pennant stamps and punch make a really cute and easy ice cream cone. Cute little tiny pennants on the inside too! Wouldn't they be cute on a baby card?! I'll have to get right on that. lol

My Open House Project

Special project just for my stamp club members.
I just love my stamping friends and many of you came to My Stamping Table Open house this past Saturday.

I am kicking myself for totally falling down of the picture taking job. Ugh! I don't have pictures of my beautiful friends. Why is it always so hard for me to remember to snap some photos while the activities are going on? :(  Anyway, I had a lovely turnout and was so honored that so many of you came! Thank You!!

I think everyone really enjoyed making the special card I prepared for them using the new Pennant Parade stamp set, Petite Pennant Builder punch and the totally fun and whimsical Big Top Birthday Designer Series paper! I also had a very special project for my stamp club girls!! A beautiful Designer Paper bookmark.

I served my special recipe Mimosas and refreshing Orange water and of course a variety of chocolate. I threw in some Hot Tamales and gummy bears cause they were cute! haha

Crafting with Wood

These are the lovely tags I made for all my INK girls who attended convention with me. They were pretty time intensive but it was a "labor of love" cause I LOVE all my girls!! I started with a piece of Wood Sheet and rounded the top corners. Wheeled and distressed them before I added the ribbon tie and the flower and initial adornment. The flower is made using the Big Shot and Fun Flowers die. I cut out different sizes of flowers from cardstock, Paisley Petals DSP, and the Wood sheets. I also layered 3 First Edition Scallop punches tucked in the middle. Crinkled and distressed all the layers and then topped it off with a sprinkling of glass glitter. The initial is chip board covered in First Edition DSP and then run through the BS using the Serif Essentials Alphabet die. I really love the mix of wood and paper, don't you?!
You can make a paper bookmark similar to this at my Paper Crafting Open House on July 30. It's Come & Go from 10 am to 2 pm. Bring a friend with you and you will both get a gift from me!! Be sure to RSVP by July 28 so I will have it all ready for you. Thanks so much for dropping by and please leave me a comment. I look a little silly talking to myself. :)

They have worked very hard and will be enjoying a very special trip to Founder's Circle. WOOHOO!!!! and CONGRATULATIONS!!! on a job well done my friends!  I am soooo proud and excited for you!!! And congratulations to ALL of the Founder's Circle achievers!

Stampin' Up! Conventionw 2011 - All I Can Say is...WOW!!!

I'm just home from another AMAZING Stampin' Up! Convention experience. Each year SU tries to "one-up" the year before and each year they totally succeed.  What made this year even MORE fun was that I had 3 convention "FIRST-TIMERS" with me. Cheryl, Melissa and Pam are 3 of the girls in my circle of demonstrators and this was their first convention experience. I am pretty sure they will all be back next year! Of course it's also such a treat to see ALL the demonstrators that I have come to know and love over the past 19 years. Great friends, fun stamping, delicious food, the beautiful scenery (and much cooler temps) of Salt Lake City all made for the best convention yet!!

If you love card making, scrapbooking, and creative fun like we do, then Stampin' Up! is the perfect fit for you!

One week old and already neglected.

My Stamping Table blog and been neglected, but not my stamping table! It is full to overflowing with fun projects, pretty papers and a plethora of accessories. I know you stampers can easily visualize the creative chaos. "Well just what have you been working on so hard that has caused you to neglect you new blog baby, Jann?" I'm so glad you asked! Many, many fun things are going on in my crafting world!
This weekend I'm headed south to spend a great, fun weekend with my stamping sisters in Texas! I can't wait to see these girls again and even meet some new friends! I've been very busy cutting, sorting, stamping, and prepping some outstanding projects that I hope they will love! All I can show you right now of these projects is a teeny tiny thumbnail of just one of them. I like surprises and I don't want to give too much away!! Plus, some of these projects are going to be part of my Surprise & Delight retreat in OKC on June 17 & 18! More about that later.
The second super fun project in my life right now is a very, very special one. (It's only 2nd in chronological order - not importance.) I am designing and making the wedding invitations for my oldest delightful offspring and his sweet significant other. I have a sneak peek for you of that too!
Ok, I'd better got back to work now. Thanks for listening. We'll talk again later. (smile)
P.S. If you are really my friend you will talk back. (bigger smile)

First 6 Followers!

I was so excited to see that I have 4 good folks following me. (It's nice that I'm not completely talking to myself now. ) I've decided that because I love these four so much I want to do something special for them. I'm inviting them to come to my stamping table for a fun evening of food and stamping. I actually have 6 seats at my stamping table so I still have room for 2 more! All you have to do is be #5 & #6! Who will it be?!

Oh ya, and a card today!
These cards are what we made at stamp club this month. The are created from the Sew Suite grouping of coordinating stamps, paper and the most adorable fabric brads, all found in the Occassions Mini catalog. You only have a few more days to order from the Occassions Mini. I'll be placing one more order before this cute stuff is gone forever. Let me know if you would like something. I make custom cards too if you are short on time!

Thanks for stopping by!
Tell someone what they mean to you today!!

A good day for Asparagus Soup.

I got a soup maker for Christmas from the delightful offspring and have had much fun with it! Today I made Asparagus Soup. YUM!
Here's the recipe:
1 pound asparagus
2 t canola oil
1 med onion, chopped
1 med potato, cubed
3 C vegetable broth, low-sodium
1/4 t pepper (called for white, but I only had black)
1/2 t ground savory (didn't have it - used coriander)
1 C 2% milk
1/4 C snipped fresh parsley
Put it all in the Soup Maker except the milk and turned it on. Added the milk after it had run through all the cycles. I decided to garnish mine with bacon crumbles and a blanched asparagus top. It was delish and a very pretty spring green. Enjoy!

Little by Little.

Ok, today I added the "About Me" and a few gadgets. So hooray! Still looking for the time and the tech guru to come along. Any takers?

This Is It!

Ok, I'm really going to start a blog this time. No, really I am! Just you wait and see. I just have to find one of my tech savvy friends to help me and it is as good as done.  Don't believe me? Check back tomorrow. You'll see!
